Services provided to Senior Citizens: HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program) provides assistance and counseling with Medicare and other insurance programs, also help in filing claims. Help in organizing your doctor and hospital bills. SENIOR LEGAL SERVICES provides advice with estate planning, wills, debt relief assistance, property transfers, elder abuse issues, landlord tenant issues, summary probate and grandparents raising grand kids. LONG TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN provides pre-placement counseling for care facilities, residents rights, quality of care, elder abuse issues-education, dietary concerns and physical environment concerns. Services are personal and confidential.
