The Siskiyou County Recorder's Office provides birth, death and marriage records for Siskiyou County from 1800 to the present. For birth and death records, it is necessary to fill out an application which the Recorder's office will mail to you. For an official birth and/or death certificate the application requires notarizaton. For marriage records, you can request by sending the name of the groom, maiden name of the bride, and the date and place. Costs are nonrefundable, whether or not certificates are provided: Birth: $15. ; Death: $13. ; Marriage: $13. Response to requests generally takes one or two days.
