Lifeline is a monitoring service which can help prolong a person's ability to live independently at home. Participants wear a waterproof pendant or wristband equipped with a button that, when pushed, connects in seconds with monitor personnel at Lifeline company headquarters in Framingham, MA. Emergency service is then contacted on the local level to assist the person needing help. Siskiyou Home Health distributes the units at no charge, but a monthly subscription fee to use the service is necessary.
